What I really liked about ability to quote from RHS into middle panel selected answer, is that I can add say 1 or many quotes into a given answer and it creates these card style references, which I can use to check off as Im working through some project. I would just click them off if Im done with them. Almost like a Kanban board style view.

the way I usually do this is to archive finished items

the problem with the multiple quotes per answer is that it creates complexity in that now you have to create all of the same drag and drop and priority architecture to deal with those multiple embedded items

a flat list is much simpler to understand and develop

I think there might be a way to quote right into the middle quest from the RHS search results, maybe a button is introduced on hover or something
