I like this idea. It would communicate so much more. Because a coin locked for a few days incurs almost no risk - so it means almost nothing. They'll have their coins back in no time.

I wonder if it would be better to score them based on number of blocks left till they unlock, so it gradually degrades over time, or just based on how long it was locked for initially.
