Interesting.
Releasing (to certain extent) CO2 entrapped in Earth over the ages endows the Earth's biosphere with longer life over the ages, and arguably assists in keeping O2 in good supply as plants flourish at higher CO2, giving O2. Humans give life.

Advanced life will not be exterminated by global warming. Life could be wiped out by an Ice Age slightly worse than the last one. Not enough oxygen for plants to survive.

Exactly, colder trends and ice ages are the real threat.
And the biosphere was trending towards plant death, below 200ppm CO2.
