I actually haven't read a lot of scripture myself, just felt like I identified with this. I used to go to church a few times a month for the immense feeling of entanglement with others. You really just do not get a feeling like that anywhere else.

When you leave church for good...
That is when you feel truly powerful and blessed.
I love the verse though. It’s beautiful. And if you have a community that builds you up, then I’m very happy for you.
The church I was a part of, was just mental bondage for me.
I was always trying to measure up to a false standard.
I believe there is so much truth in the Bible, yet it has been so skewed by theologians, that Christians most often act more like the Pharisees than like Christ himself.
My church probably would have kicked out Jesus, mistaking him for a liar.
