I know, I was there.
But even still, it's hard to imagine a world without internet and computers.

I miss those AOL disks they used to mail daily with 250 free hours.

I was ten when I got my first (used) computer 486 DX2 😏.

Got online the year after in 1995 for the first time (as far as I can remember). mIRC was a favourite app to use with "ASL" as ice breaker to find equals and interesting people "out there".

Man the dx2 had a coprocessor I had a 486 sx 33mhz...yours had to be 66 or 75 lol

It was a 66Mhz. I later got a 100Mhz (within a year or two) 🤓

I was co sysop at 12 with 1440 minutes a day. Played a lot of Legend of the red dragon and drug wars. I remember when ANSI took off it was the real graphics.

My first real internet experience and what I felt was liberty, was MSN and hotmail. My mum was always up to date with all the internet stuff and by that stage I had my own cellphone. I remember dial up sounds and ASL 😂I will tell my grandkids that 🤣
