Every day I am reading how wealth managers and hedgefunds are dead convinced BTC and to lesser extent ETH are solid long term investments
Is this some extreme info assymetry going on or we are hopelessly naive ?

Most people are just convinced that BTC and ETH are juggernauts that cant be taken down. They will find out the hard way. 🐲
I am talking about big hedgefunds not some crypto twitter bagholders
The big hedge-funds are overrated. They all missed multiple bullruns in crypto-currency so they aren’t exactly the pinnacles of the intellectual hierarchy. Many of those crypto Twitter bagholders earned more in % than hedge-funds.
