How to install and use Chrome Extension?- Click on EXTENSION link at the top right navigation bar.- This will install extension into your Chrome browser.- You are now ready to start saving relevant websites and search results into Knovigator.- You can also clip specific quoted text related to a given website right into Knovigator with as simple highlight-and-save feature.- If you want to trigger another search you can do so as well using highlight-and-search feature.- Once you find the info you want, you can easily save it into Knovigator.- One other important feature to mention, you can clip YouTube videos and annotate a specific segment by saving exact video time frame with your notes. - Here is the video to reference how to install and use Knovigator Chrome Extension:

How to make comments on answers?- As you making notes/answers on your research topic, you can add comments on each of answers. This can be your answers or someone else's. To add comments, click on the red comment icon at the right of the answer.- When you click on the comments icon for a given answer, it will open a new panel on the right side. You can now start adding comments.- Here is the video to reference how to make comments and re-use existing information in Knovigator:

How to record video note in your post?- Start a new quest or use existing quest.- Instead of writing a post, click the little camera icon to start your recording.- Video recording will start automatically and will auto-complete after 60 seconds. You can also stop it earlier by using the red square button.

How to create sub-quests?- As you make your research you might want to create a sub-quest/sub-topic. To do that, click on the blue search icon to open a right hand panel.- Once that new panel is opened, you can start your new quest or search for already existing quests to reference in your research. - Another useful feature to note, as you are trying to create a sub-topic, you can highlight an answer text you want to create a sub-topic on and click on the blue search icon to automatically launch that search.- Once new sub-topic is created, it will connect your parent topic with the sub-topic you just created.- Here is the video to reference on how to make sub-quests and re-use existing information in Knovigator:

How to quote existing answers?- Click on blue search icon to launch the right hand panel.- Either create a new sub-quest or reference an answer from existing quest.- Once you have the answer you want to quote, click on the red quote " icon to insert it.- Here is the video to reference on how to quote existing information in Knovigator:

How to search quests and use relevant quests?- Type your query either in middle panel or right hand panel- Relevant search quests will be displayed.- Please also note as you are viewing a specific quest, we constantly search using quest name to find existing relevant quests. - Here is the video to reference on how to search existing information in Knovigator:

How to insert new answers?- You can always insert a new answer as you are making your research by clicking the + icon between the answers you want to insert at.

How to connect your Knovigator account and post to Twitter?- As you are making your research, you might find some useful posts you would want to share with your Twitter following- To do that just connect your Twitter account by going to PROFILE page at the top left and select "Integrate with Twitter".- Once your Twitter account is connected, you can easily post any research quest you have to Twitter by clicking on "tweet" button right below the quest name.- Here is the video to reference on how to connect and use Twitter integration:

How to Export your research content to re-use later?- You might want to re-use information you have been storing in Knovigator in another tool like Google docs or email- To do that just click "export" button right below the quest name. You can manually copy paste the text or use the export button to save it into a .txt file.- Here is the video to reference on how to export existing information from Knovigator:

How to upvote and sort your posts?- You can upvote any posts you have created or posts created by others shared with you.- You can vote multiple times on a given post. - After you are done voting, you might choose to change how posts are sorted in a given quest. To do that you can select Vote sort option instead of Author (in addition you can select either Ascending or Descending order)

How to join Knovigator Slack Community?- Click on COMMUNITY (https://knovigator.com/community) at the top right to join our group of Knovigator enthusiasts.- You will receive an email to confirm and join our Slack community group.

How to search for Knovigator information right from your Slack channel?- Ask your Slack admin to connect Knovigator app- After that is configured, if you want to find relevant content in Knovigator simply type "/knov-search <search term>" and the search results will appear right within your Slack context.- You can open relevant posts and reference those from your Slack channel.

How to archive items you have completed or no longer need part of you notes?- Hover over a given post and click "Archive" to hide that item from the view.- You can still find your archived posts by changing the display filter. By default it only shows non-archived items, but you can change it to see All or only Archived items.

How to make sure my private content stay private? Also how to share content to my team or to make it public?- Whenever you create a new quest by default it will be available to be viewed via shared link.- You can change that setting to make it Private, only you will be able to see it.- You can make it Public or you can also share it to an available Team.
