just saw in a chat that he really wanna like treechat but he can't because it's horrible to use. I often hear that when I recommend. the ui really needs some work so it is more welcoming and clearer from the start. what do you do with @21 feedbacks on the ux?

This user interface is a differentiating factor. Other social media platforms are clones of others, just their logo and domain name are unique.
Being a clone is good if you solve one particular problem really well. Like micro payments. I thought I replied to this post but I can’t find back to it. Also please fix this.
Look at Pixelfed and how it was actually able to find product market fit.

Pixelfed is 1:1 instagram but with the ability to self host and without ads.
the Pixelfed user base are early adopters who are willing to pay to not see ads and to own their data. Lots of lessons there, also an opportunity to onboard to @treechat
As long as it’s called tree’chat’ the expectation is that it works like chat. Which it doesn’t.
