once the jaw had been done he asked if I would like the nostrils done.. with my new mouth I said "YES", it felt funny. My teeth connected differently, my tongue was more involved in making that sound.
He changed gloves and starting with the left side put his little finger in my left nostril and wiggled it deeper and deeper and deeper. I focussed on breathing through the right nostril and letting go. As I got curious wondering how far deeper his finger could go something happened, the hole got bigger and I could feel the next knuckle dig through.
He kept asking if I was OK, "if you want me to stop, tell me"
"keep going"
I was really curious even though it was the weirdest thing anybody had done to me.
He reached the end point and slowly took his finger out and let me sit with that for a few moments as I adjusted myself back to reality of having one very huge nostril and another that felt like a pin hole.

And OMFGoodness, that side was ssssoooo different. Like a rabbit warren, he'd find a little hole and push for his finger to go deeper and search for another opening. He kept searching pressing until he got his whole little finger in to touch the sphenoid bone.
It was the weirdest learning experience I've thus far lived through.
Having had that bone inside my skull touched has "centred" me posturally, emotionally, spiritually.
The feeling is indescribable.
My eyes, the way I 'see' the world has changed.
