Isn't this true of any consumer service / product?

People are now paying to be on Twitter with 0% chance of earning at the moment (although, this is in the works… then it will be just like Twetch… but late to the game).

Only the consumers who are also influential content creators will be able to make substantial earnings; the rest will remain the consumers they always have been, and this would be true either way.
