Hence, people using crypto to bypass government controls. In this case, capital controls. Hence why US is threatened that it can bypass what they don’t want done. That’s what I was trying to get at before.
I know what you were trying to get at. But Bitcoin as intended leaves an evidence trail, especially when AML/KYC is fully complied with. Bitcoin is not the problem here, it is the fiat to crypto then back to fiat mechanisms allowing criminal activity.
Governments will always issue bonds & have their own currency imo. My hope is that Bitcoin ends as being the worlds reserve currency in the future. The government bonds & currency will be issued as tokens on Bitcoin.
If people don’t buy bonds and buy Bitcoin instead, that would be a problem for governments. That’s far in future but how would they be able to issue their currency? I feel Bitcoin can subsume all governments to leave only one.
