bitcoin has outperformed them, except maybe an equity or two? so its pretty good as a long term store of value

eh call me skeptical here. There hasn't been any true price discovery for bitcoin yet. If there are large block sales of coins, we'll see at what price counterparties catch them. I won't be surprised if it's significantly lower than this price point. Of course, it might go much higher first.

seems like there have been 12 years of price discovery :)
