I was invited last month to speak at Coingeek Live on the rebuild of Streamanity.
Instead, thought it would be a great idea to have @2956 of the @17294 take my place on the panel and talk about the social platform as a user!
It will be so much better!

Great you can speak about the rebuild of Streamanity here. Why did you not rebuild the comment system? You can't even reply to a comment. Even though there are 20 comments on a video it still tells me "Be The First To Comment". You couldn't fix this?

We take a component, market based approach to building products. We are not in the commenting business with Streamanity and will replace our comment section with the worlds greatest at some point.
Maybe a VC funded company can do that.

I wasn't aware it took that much time and effort to build a comments section where you could reply to a reply.

It doesn’t take much time in isolation. The comment section was “incredible” under previous owners. How did that turn out.

Could you not monetize the comments for the uploader easily? Everyone using the site has a wallet already connected. (im not a coder, just trying to understand) Every uploader is trying to encourage dialogue or at least spark a discussion for sure.

We are a video platform. If we don’t grow more videos and test out that hypothesis with all our might, there won’t be any videos to comment on.
I think some of our business practices will become guru … advice in a few years. Let’s see.

Great CEOs know/learn that challenging emotionallyCharged feedback can b just as good & likely BETTER'n "nicey-nicey" feedback
As content-producers on @14352, fully appreciate ur passion. After-all the worst feedback to a system in growth-mode is silence.

Watching this segment right now and @2956 has got me hyped on Streamanity. Good call!
