and there was an interview with [[casey means]] and her brother on tucker carlson talking about the toxic food supply and environment acting as a feeder system for big pharma... basically creating life long pharma patients by making the children sick

this is basically the plot of the movie [[matrix]]
Yes, agreed. Ray Peat's work was focussed primarily on how to make people self-sufficient where their health is concerned. He would say at every opportunity that we had to focus our combined efforts on preventing the government and big pharma from killing us. There's nothing more important than this right now. Not even AI ;-). I'm fairly convinced the elite think they don't need humans any more as they'll have androids to run the world instead. (I don't think they've realised they likely won't be in charge.) To me, the world currently resembles a video game in which our job of survival gets harder each year!
I def agree with most of this... I think the point is that we are in an antagonistic environment, where the institutions have lost their legitimacy and are working against our self-interest, and that's how you have to approach things
Ray was very good in that he splits the world's resources roughly into harmful and helpful, which might seem overly simplistic, but it is incredibly helpful. Everything that is estrogenic - and that includes all endocrine disruptors, x-rays, radiation, toxins, endotoxins, heavy metals, fertiliser/weed killer, plastics, polyunsaturated fat, soy, etc are harmful. Sunlight (red light), mono-unsaturated fat (e.g. butter, coconut oil), cheese, milk, eggs, liver, oysters, honey & sugar, fruit and below ground veg, pastured meat, progesterone, aspirin, anti-histamines, occasional antibiotics (to lower endotoxins), thyroid (T3/T4), gelatine, and some others I'm missing, are good, and largely anti-estrogenic. It keeps things very simple to view the world this way. It has improved my own health vastly. I was allergic to everything and having seizures and cranial hypertension when I discovered his work. I don't now.
im very happy to hear that... im basically trying (and often failing) to be as minimalist as possible... cut my consumption down to bare necessities that i dont need an institution to tell me are good for me, basically: lots of meat, and other animal products, with the understanding that anything man-made increases risk
All vaccines fall into the harmful category of course, because their mechanism of action - even the older ones - is to create a large inflammatory response. In my own case, a 4th rubella vaccine triggered rheumatoid arthritis aged 15 - a large inflammatory cascade my immune system/body couldn't quench.
:(
Yes, that's Ray's thinking as well. He's not anti-medicine, when needed and when it's more helpful than harmful, but generally he's not an advocate of diets or supplements. He says most supplements are more harmful. He goes for a simple dietary and light approach, supplementing thyroid when needed.
It's super frustrating when my extended family (not me, husband and kids) and friends have all taken multiple covid vaccines and now I'm watching their health decline precipitously. It's like living in a horror film at times.
But RFK Jr is a true gift to humanity. I hope Trump lets him get on with it. It could help not just the US, but the world.
