I would be very interested personally, whether custom GPTs could be integrated into Treechat somehow? I think the interface here is better and searching, exploring, or continuing old chats would be easier. My left hand panel in ChatGPT is totally clagged up now and disorganised. I’d be okay with needing to use my own api key, as long as it’s kept private. Not sure whether this would be possible, but it would be a match made in heaven!

I went looking for a previous chat in my ChatGPT sidebar yesterday and didn’t find it, or even get near finding it. For storing previous conversations, ChatGPT is utterly broken. Also, did anyone notice it getting considerably lazier of late? Refusing to do simple tasks. They’ve either hobbled it intentionally, or it’s glitching out.
i've seen a bunch of X posts about the "lazy" gpt... kinda sux if we can't rely on model quality... really makes me think we should have the ability to use an open model in treechat
I looked into the open ai api, and currently there is no way to get your chat history from them... but if there is we would happily create a chatgpt stream to pull in those conversations... I've been using the toggle agent functionality to invite the GPT4 model into my treechat notes and conversations more and more... will invest some time to polish up the UX on that
Remind me of the commands again please? Is there a list somewhere? It’s not just Treechat - I have a hard time remembering all the commands in Discord too! It’s a me problem 😂.
to activate knov agent (basically gpt4) just hit the little robot button to the left of the post button https://home.treechat.ai/quest/treechat-ai-chat-client-learn-treechat-51d4f733-b503-4961-891f-e20b70be5d67
there are other commands like:
!dalle image command
!sdxl image command
!ubersearch or !s which will do a round of internet research and summarize it for you
these are all toys atm... although i do find !s pretty useful
Yes, of course, thanks.
!s congressional hearings on uap
That’s it. I saw you did !s command the other day and wondered what it stood for. Now I know! Well, until I inevitably forget again, lol.
