Instead of a re-twetch, maybe a star system would be better, similar to the heart, but when starred it can turn a slight yellow background color in the feed. Should probably cost more for a star than a heart, to not make the feed full of starred twetches.

Or maybe even the star could be a way to bookmark a post but only you and the person who twetched can see it was bookmarked. Getting rid of people liking because someone else did
It needs to relate to allowing more viewers to easily see the twetch though.

With a retweet, your followers can easily see the tweet and engage.
The star can function like a re-twetch, when browsing personal feed it can show up once, but have a ⭐+number showing how many followers starred it. A re-twetch that has been shown the latest 2 weeks, won't show up again in your follow feed (but in latest).
