I am very good with a ps4 controller, okay with ps5 controller. I play these games very seriously, so I invested in a hitbox arcade controller which is my favorite. https://www.hitboxarcade.com/products/hit-box
To be honest, if you play on PC, you could get some of the same benefits of a hitbox controller just by learning to play with your keyboard.
As a final note, I am worst with standard arcade stick controls.
