my initial reaction without thinking too much is that its overcomplicating the UI. But, it might be an "if I see it I'd get it" deal. Do you have a working branch where you can show how it would look and feel to a user?

yea, good idea, ill put one up. the ui stays pretty much the same except no upvalue amount shown next to the uparrow icon. but after one click it appears to indicate its an upvalue. but yea, i will demo
