Microtransactions dude- get a clue.
ON MY NETWORK
Decentralized af.
Exactly as I thought bitcoin is in 2011
There has to be a line somewhere. If the people pushing BTC are using an altered version of the original Bitcoin then they should not be allowed to call it Bitcoin because they are lying to everyone and deceiving them. It’s fraudulent.
hashrate seems to favor the original chain, let the people decide which coin is fraudulent
The hashrate favors the first mover advantage chain (BTC) because there are massive amounts of propaganda tricking people into believing BTC is still Bitcoin. If people understood that BTC is propped up by digital fiat (Tether), slow asf and can’t scale...
Give it time.
twetch is shooting itself in the foot if they don't have a back up plan implementing the lightning network just in case BSV doesnt work out
there's probably even less LN users than statists on BSV from my experience 🤷♂️
still has more nodes than full nodes on the bsv network doe, last time I checked it was 300 bsv nodes in the whole world lol
Don't think it's propaganda, but it's just a genuine concern for those who not only want the privileged people to run a full node, but people in developing countries as well. The cost are to run a full node are lower with small blocks
that wouldn't be a decentralized network then.
How so?
It’s definitely propaganda. Why do they need to run a full node? They can just use BSV (because it scales), is faster, way more efficient, follows the original protocol, and is simple to use. There is no need for them to run a full node or small blocks.
microtransactions what?
Fuck this running full nodes bs.
BSV is alarmingly centralized nontheless.
to be self sovereign and not depend on a third party; full nodes enforce the consensus rules as well....Privacy is another reason. Safety is also a big one. There is many reasons why you should run your own full node
bitcoin depends on full nodes, without them. bitcoin would fail
I know Bitcoin needs full nodes, but it def doesn’t need every single person to run one.
What if people want to use Bitcoin and don’t feel like running a full node because they aren’t interested in doing so?
What about it is alarming exactly?
ok greg
"my network"
bitcoin full nodes will be implemented into phones eventually, everyone will be running one
Am I supposed to know who Greg is?
Someone had to have made it, so it’s someone’s network. It didn’t appear out of thin air.
Maxwell. The man of many socks.
Why? They can just use BSV without having their phone running a full node.
Why should we have to use our phones to help BTC limp along? I can just use BSV instead. BSV scales.
Oh, I still don’t know who he is. What exactly makes it alarmingly centralized though? Also, would some of you help me answer questions because I’m cooking and typing right now. Lol
once you understand the importance of running a full node, it will make sense. Their is many articles on it

I’m extremely well versed on the rhetoric of everyone running a full node. I just don’t agree with it. I don’t think it’s possible for me to understand it anymore than I already do. Why should everyone run a node when BSV can scale?
It's not about scaling, it's about sovereignty, making sure miners follow consensus, privacy, and safety. Why depend on a third party to broadcast your transactions? there is no privacy depending on third party wallets
Scaling is the most important factor, that is why all the other cryptos are useless. There needs to be a way to tax certain transactions or Bitcoin will never succeed. You can’t have a currency (especially a digital one) without government support.
Bitcoin will succeed with or without the government
There is always a government and when there is not a government... one forms. Currency can only exist if there is governmental support. Unfortunately there is always one group of people who end up ruling over other groups.
that is not true, currency was not always nationalized and had no government
so you're saying the more gigamegs the block size is, the better it is?
