Imagine being so afraid of your posts being on the blockchain that you don't post at all, instead of being humble enough to admit when you were wrong and move on

afraid or a fraud?

Imagine thinking that twetching is comparable to tweeting. You have to evaluate whether you have something valuable to say, or else you’re in the red.

Twetch ·

This is why reputation matters so much, pre Twetch you could just delete tweets to rebrand. Now either you admit you were wrong or get a new user number at the back of the line.

Twetch ·

Yeah true. Identity is crucial for all of this to work and admitting mistakes allows for so much growth, so much faster. Mistakes are sooo valuable too.

Pseudonymity and identity can both carry reputation, though the audience is encumbered by a pseudonymous account's ability to be sold or transferred.

Twetch ·

How is the audience encumbered? I’m trying to fully understand. Wouldn’t the public ledger show that the account has transferred to new ownership, even if pseudo-anonymous?

Twetch ·

There little value in buying a fully validated identity and even less for trying to sell one reputation wise, but there will always be some doubt to pseudonymous accounts because potential value gain.

Off-line exchange is always possible.

That certainly makes sense. Thank you for explaining.
