im torn on this format... on the one had I like being able to convert anything to audio, and the conversational format does have a kind of gravity to it... but on the other hand it is not as dense as I would like... put the knowledge in my veins as fast as possible!

Hehe, there’s always 1.5x speed. I know what you mean though. I was showing it to my son, and we agreed that it’s peak American insincerity. No offence intended, it’s just that they’re talking as if they’re human and they’re not, but I absolutely don’t hate it and it’s probably a lot more informationally dense than something I’d make myself. Basically, as the first attempt, it’s pretty mind blowing I’ve got to admit. I love that they can summarise the main takeaways of an entire book in a few minutes flat. It’s absolutely not the same as reading the book, but it’s waaaay better than not reading it at all. I think I’ll be using it a lot for archive material.
