is the identity key on moneybutton non-custodial ?
do you have a way to restore it from your seed if your account gets banned ?

I dont understand. the moneybutton.com paymail is routed through moneybutton.com?
we should be able to have a stable onchain identity based on the identity key that we should be able to import into another wallet with our seed and publish onchain that now our identity is linked to a new paymail
Twetch and other apps should NOT rely on paymail as identity but on the identity key and change payments destination to the latest onchain paymail
the onchain ID should be non-custodial, paymails should just be ways to relay an onchain ID to an address temporarily, but in full control of the individual to change at any time
is that how ENS works?
a simple way to make this non-custodial and still reliable is to use the benefit of the timestamping functionality of the blockchain
At a timestamp in time I link a paymail to an onchain ID...
anyone having the paymail + timestamp can find the onchain ID and derive the *latest* paymail from that ID
the solution is to timestamp paymails linked to onchain IDs
this seems to be the answer: identity key is non custodial, but of course the paymail is, so neither can be considered as a stable ID (keys can be stolen, paymails can be banned) but let's build better solutions

Using Simply Cash or NextCash Wallet, with your 12 words and derivation path you can recover your founds.
Derivation path for:
RelayX: m/44'/236'/0'
MoneyButton: m/44'/0'/0'
Centbee: don't know
Handcash: you can't
thanks for sharing, derivation paths can be hard to find when you need them
glad @15284 are not woke because if they did something similar your money would really be frozen for good
reputation and trust will be everything for keyless wallets
Simply cash won’t sync for me. Too many txs
Will others have this issue as well?
Wait what, can handcash lock my funds without me being able to recover them without their consent?
Ping @15284 due to the last days discussions on wallets and recovery in relation to Moneybutton and Ali. Hypothetically, theoretically and all that could you lock my funds making me unable to recover them without your consent? Thanks for a great wallet!
Yes.
@15284 holds 50% of your keys and MatterCloud, acting as "trustholder", the other 50%.
If goverment tells Handcash to freeze your account, Handcash, as a legaly compliant company, won't allow you to sign any transaction.
Am I correct @102 ?
Depends. Case by case. We despise censorship and unless we have a judicial order for acting or some legal reason of the kind we wouldn’t even consider it.
Based
So i can't use my seed words to get my BSV out of HANDCASH?
