I have a few ideas for a book, but didn't had the patience and nerves to give that challenge a try.
So far I stick with notes.
Less chance of failing or giving up^^.

Just begin Steffen! Don’t look too far ahead. Consider it play. I write using the snowflake method. I treat it like a fractal. I write a one line summary of the book, a paragraph summary, character codex - personality traits, backstory, character arcs, etc, the book outline divided into its chapters, then the chapter outline, then the story beats, then the prose and dialogue itself. Just keep zooming in and the book sort of writes itself—I promise! https://www.scribophile.com/academy/how-to-plot-a-story-using-the-snowflake-method
