The idea that Putin could invade the EU is, of course, utterly ridiculous.

This would mean global thermonuclear war. This is pure propaganda to frighten the people into compliance.

But frankly, at this point, Russia liberating Europe from out of control central planners would be not only interesting, it would also be ironic:

The last bastion of Christian European values, Russia, liberating Europe from Soviet style central planners.

History doesn't get any funnier.
