That explosion footage really does not match with the landing. Instantly the rocket is a lot closer to the camera. Somethings been faked or adjusted here.

They switched the main camera for no apparent reason at 6:27, which is where the landing begins. However, the other two cameras do not appear to be switched at that time. My very rough estimate of max height is 5 km. They did not report the height either.

Yeah I guess it's just a camera change. But seems an odd choice to do it *just* as the rocket explodes (in the video I saw). Pretty neat rocket. This fly-by-wire stuff always looks eerie af.

Yes, the switch is odd also because it switches to a _smaller_ view 15 seconds before the explosion. Maybe it is the white background/a cloud that appears before the switch. Anyhow, the max height, 5km, is not impressive, and far from where it needs to be.

Btw, my estimate for 5 km was pretty good, it was planned https://www.cnet.com/news/spacex-to-launch-starhopper-16400-feet-high-in-next-test-flight/

100km to space right? They will need a bigger rocket.

100 km is just the first phase, they need like 10,000 km or so, he better just pack up and explode all rockets.

Here's another view. Again, they switch to a worse viewpoint before landing at 0:26. Another problem I have with thiis is that at 0:20, the visual start of the exhaust from the rocket is within 0.2 seconds from the exhaust start sound, impossible. https://twitter.com/Erdayastronaut/status/1337565311646765056
