what do you like about it? this is not just a vanity exercise will help us communicate the value to others
first it was all very confusing; too many buttons and function names I didn't understand, unusual navigation that made me lose orientation where I am and what I am doing and the concept that differates from every other "social media" because it puts the message in the center, not the user.
I closed the app after a few minutes of trying to dive in. I tried it again and again because it feels like it has something really special on it. after a bit of "training" I think I understand the concept and I'm looking forward to test all the stuff that is possible on here.
I'm not very much into AI stuff, but I think you created a good combination of human and bot interactions. It's a great tool to expend our knowledge insteed of just shitposting in the void in the hope to get attention. I really need to check it out more.
thanks for the feedback !flux saluting emoji
If you want to mass adopting this thing it must be more intuitive, so new users find their way in less then 2 minutes, which isn't easy for apps with new concept and ideas. users need to know what they can do, what the idea and philosophy is behind it and most important, how they can profit (not only in a financial way) from the product. When you come here the first time a short video explaining the app would help for example. simple and easy to understand. most people get bored or scared when it's too technical.
All the Twetchers who come here go right to complaining about the UI. Myself included. Twetch did something right, that's for sure. What I miss most is having a site that's easy on the eyes where you can brows through your own and other people's posts easily. I don't know how else to put it. I really liked being able to see the posts of a profile in a row and without the replies. I understand that treechat is much more rizomatic, so to speak, but both could probably be combined.
you can click any avatar to see that user's posts
we will have a root/branch filter soon
