I am very aware of the official narrative. I'm even aware of all the people who were part of the 9/11 commission who later claimed that it was a joke from start to finish.

It never seizes to amaze me how someone can look at a building that was built to shelter important people during catastrophic events falls down like a house of cards before their very eyes and still they go with authority explaining it away with simulations, damage and fires.
Even the buildings between WTC 1/2 and WTC 7 that got hit with the full force of the rubble didn't go down like that.
If a building goes down like that the architects and engineers involved in building it would go to jail. And if they didn't do anything wrong the entire building code would have to be rewritten.
The only good thing about your video is that it proves that you are well aware that the penthouse that goes first sat right on top of the central columns.

Again you've said nothing about the actual explanations and evidence, and provided no arguments of your own. Essentially the essence of what you are saying is "its hard to believe that a building could fail due to progressive collapse" but you apparently refuse to consider that:

There is still not consensus agreement on what triggered the first columns to give. The official narrative is not accepted dogmatically. Several different government and non-government sources have considered alternative hypothesis and revised theories over time. The only reason most people (that have studied this) accept the theories that are considered in the videos is because they make the most sense to explain all the very extensive, thoroughly reviewed details that were mentioned in the videos. The videos and studies they are inspired by represent an attempt at open minded investigation. Not just propaganda as is very clearly the intention of your videos.
That engineers, architects, construction companies and regulatory apparatus routinely make mistakes all over the world leading to people getting killed
The NIST report DID lead to building codes getting updated to try to avoid progressive collapse and fire induced failures in the future.
To your final point, as was discussed in the videos, the penthouse was not over the central columns. It was over the east columns. The central columns, un-surprisingly, were in the center.

The central columns are a rectangle of columns. Not some columns in the center. But you certainly understand that.
My experts are propaganda, your experts are real. I understand now.
What could I possibly say that adds to the view of thousands of architects, engineers and demolition experts who say the official narrative is a bad joke?
What could you say that adds to the theories of those who only look at possible explanations that EXCLUDE the obvious fact that the buildings were rigged?
Nothing.
Did you really think one of us would solve the "mystery" conclusively with arguments everyone else has missed?

Do you have a great new hypothesis on why the authors of the 9/11 commission report say it was all a cover up?

The Penthouse that collapsed wasn't over the center of the building. It was over the east side of the building. It was held up by columns 79, 80 and 81. Look at the attached schematic. Do those columns numbered 79, 80 and 81 look like the central columns to you?
The authors of the 911 commission that later critized the report said nothing about the studies done on the causes of the collapse. Thats because 911 report didn't study the building collapses. It was meant to study the intelligence and policy aspects that lead to the attack and the response that followed. Here is the official founding law that setup the commision:
“…to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, including preparedness for and the immediate response to the attacks. The Commission shall investigate relevant facts and circumstances relating to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, including those relating to intelligence agencies, law enforcement agencies, diplomacy, immigration issues and border control, the flow of assets to terrorist organizations, commercial aviation, the role of congressional oversight and resource allocation, and other areas determined relevant by the Commission.”
The people you mentioned criticizing the report specifically mentioned problems with stonewalling related to access to intelligence around Saudi Arabia's role and intelligence failures for example. Nothing to do with the investigations of the collapse. Because the 911 commission was not given that mandate. This argument of yours is a red herring.

If you can't see the core of the building in your own picture there's nothing I can do for you.
Just ask yourself what would happen to the penthouse if you take out the CORE COLUMNS. You can find them by looking at the numbers forming a rectangle in the CENTER of the building.
