Isn't it funny how everyone self-identifies as awake? They just call it different names.
The right calls it awake, the left woke.
Both essentially say "those who don't agree with me are trapped in illusions. If they would be awake like me, everything would be great."

This movie made by transgender communists (The Matrix) infected everybody with a messiah complex, it seems.

call it what you want, but aren't your posts meant to impart some insight? the [[matrix]] is a metaphor, one of the most relevant to our times

Y ·

Let me put it like this:
There's searching for truth and then there's self-identfying as someone who possesses the truth (awake).
Searching for truth is great, for obvious reasons.
Self-identifying as someone who possesses the truth is problematic in several ways.
First of all, it is a massive obstacle in the search for truth. If you HAVE the truth, you don't need to search for it, you just evaluate everything based on whether or not it fits into your narrative ("truth").
Secondly, it makes eye-level discussion (a necessity in the search for truth) all but impossible.
There's no point of engaging those in real dialogue who "refuse to wake up to the truth" (my narrative).
You'd be well advised to take my posts as mere opinions. I am neither awake nor enlightened. I don't possess the truth. Rumor has it I am somewhat retarded.

Personally, I hate the Matrix. Not because it's a bad movie, it isn't.
I hate it because it promotes the communist view that the chosen awake ones (the communist avantgarde) has carte blanche to do whatever is necessary for the "greater good" uninhibited by common ethics and morality.
The awake enlightened ones mustn’t be obstructed by the sleeping sheep, who are in the way of the revolution.

The funniest part is when you watch the movie as the story of a loser who chooses the fantasy of being the chosen one (very special) over reality and joins a cult of like minded people who also self-identify as very special.
Unwittingly, it's a story of psychosis.

I don't have all the truth either.

Y ·

Keep in mind that I wasn't attacking you.
The whole awake thing has become so ubiquitous that it seems like some counter arguments are called for.

You can only help those who want to be helped it's that simple. Everyone has their free will or at least the illusion of it. I agree with about "awake" being arbitrary and different for people. But there are some universal truths and if you aren't aware of them by now, it's going to get harder to see what's really going on. We're waking up to who we are spiritually.

Y ·

Maybe we are waking up.
Maybe we are dreaming about how awake we are. Who knows.
The latter seems more likely.
If there will be a great awakening™️ my money is that it's part of the new age order agenda.

I prefere the term grow up instead of wake up. It means more somehow.

Y ·

Same. I'd even say that growing up is the opposite of being a "wake-up bro", which is arguably a somewhat adolescent messianic phase kind of thing.

:) I made and posted almost the exact same meme on Twetch. I think I was using the guy pointing approvingly at one and dismissively at the other.

complexity compels humility

Complexity and beauty alone can cure spiritual retardation, if we just lower our mental shieds for long enough time.
