Had you heard that all species of shark everywhere, in all the ocean, have had about a 90% reduction in population due to human activities, mostly commercial fishing? The kill rate for sharks by humans is in the hundreds of millions per year...

I don't recall the number exactly but I think it was 200,000,000 sharks per year killed by humans and like 2 humans or less humans killed by sharks. Some people really like sharks, for example shark biologists, and are freaked out about this.

I know I am missing the point of your post but it just reminded me of this. Shark lovers (biologists) kinda wish people would quit making sharks out to be terrible monsters because makes their job harder. That's what I heard. Just passing it on
