To be fair, monetarily, Twetch is a zero-sum game for users (technically slightly negative-sum due to the fraction going to Twetch); however, the value of the content generated must obviously be taken into consideration.
Not zero-sum for those who work to get to the center of the network, as @24 says.
Again, I said it's a zero-sum game for users in general, i.e. that someone is always getting money from someone else.
This doesn't exclude some people from making money while others are paying to use it, and this is still good due to the content creation.
Zero-sum in terms of who ends up with more or less money but positive-sum as a whole or else nobody would spend money on it in the first place!
Yes, exactly; that's what I meant by stating that the content generated must be considered. If I pay you for some premium content and you pay me right back the same amount, we're both the same off monetarily, but two pieces of high-quality content richer!
This actually serves as an excellent basic example for what Bastiat wanted to demonstrate in That Which Is Seen, and That Which Is Not Seen and by the broken window fallacy, as well as for the importance of the velocity of money, and even Say's law.
