Something happened to me last Friday which got me convinced that this coup should be taken seriously.

First, some context: For the past 2 weeks, and for another 2, French ppl have to carry a self-signed document whenever they want to go out (w/in a 1km radius from home). Employers provide such a document to authorize workers to justify work/home movement.
As a form of protest, I decided not to carry any ID document nor travel authorization.
Last Friday evening, I got pulled over by the local police on my way back home. One of my car's light was broken, had no ID on me nor travel authorization. AND, I had my heaphones on, with a the video discussed here playing on my phone.
Pretty bad, right?
The policewoman noticed the video I was watching at first sight. She told me that we shared common interest and asked me "would you consider yourself awake, sir?". I nodded. Good, she said..
In the end, They did not fine me at all (normally, I should have been fined at least 135€ for not having a travel authorization. A lot more for driving without my driving license and vehicle insurance).
So should we believe Remy Daillet Wiedemann when he says that he is backed by military and police force? That his coup has been planned for years?
This strange episode gets me thinking, wbu ?
Congrats for the pacific protest of resisting self-signed travel autorizations, which are the shame of our country.
& thanks for sharing your story, it gets me thinking too. The main critic I have heard is that he is just making unbacked claims, but now..
I guess I should thank you too, you made me save 135€ 😂
A lot of this crap is fear tactics and meant to make ppl uneasy. For example if you look into the details of these '2nd lockdowns' it's not really as bad as the 1st, it's overstated.
Also most of this isn't enforceable at all...
😂 hadn't even realized that, am glad it did !
