it's locked on chain isn't it? yours wallet shows locked coins if you import the address I think. I am not a locking expert.
Yes, at least the user bsverified seems to have found Yours Wallet, which means at about 1/3 of locked coins got released. :-) But then we have ~136 others who might not know what to do.
did they not know what they were doing?
@pxl272, please, you're a long timer and know this community well enough. Redundant question. But besides that how do they know how to unlock the coins when Hodlocker is gone? They'll just have to find Yours Wallet or someone else who knows what's going on (<- and we're back to the original problem with brain cells few and far between).
That locking thing was heavily pushed to users as new killer feature from beginning but it always seems to me like irrelevant lose of time and money.
Yes, I was and am aligned the same way, but it did get attention from bigger names in the scene, like Jack C. Liu (RelayX) and Joshua Henslee (Tique, Mornin Run, Windbell).
We all know how that ended (or is still going) relayx was out of the game and Josh thinked he could make it in BTC. People were recklessly locking BSV for year or two because there was ranking system and no guarantees how to unlock and because Jack and Josh told them to do it.
Just a side step here: I think RelayX went offline because its owners were worried about legal consequences of running what even CSW would call a bucket shop. And another step: Joshua began to distance himself from BSV after the court case. Those two influenced certainly many to try Hodlocker -- would have been nice if they hadn't just disappeared like a pair of Judas goats. But then being "into" BSV is like sitting on a medieval torture device, the one that's a pyramid-shaped chair. And CSW is the tip. 馃樁
