Some of hte language is written by lobbyists, which can be bad but honestly isn't the real problem. it's not as bad as people might think. Lobbyists represent certain interests, whether that's a company, association, etc.

Basically, they represent real interests. And those interests will be self-serving for whatever entity, but they also represent valuable perspectives.
