Hot take: the human body is so well-adapted to famine, diverse environments that any random-ass diet, including American fast food can be fine for health; we just eat too much and exercise too little because food is cheap and tasty+cars, unwalkable cities.

Nonsense.
The human body is the product of 50 million years of symbiotic coevolution with angiosperms; any major deviation from the natural human diet invariably causes deterioration, sickness and disease over time.

Gotta agree with Philonous..our diets have an effect on our height health and even our reproduction.

@4543 are you a raw food diet (frugivore) proponent?

Our anatomy and physiology is that of a frugivorous ape; in fact, humans have several adaptations making them the most specialized frugivore of them all.
I'm a proponent of eating what's optimal for human health.
