Host a Studio Project
• Studio Projects facilitate the sharing of critical files, allowing specific users to review or update them, extending beyond just PDFs.
• A document management system is in place to prevent multiple users from making simultaneous updates.
• User permissions can be customized to control who can perform specific actions within a Project.
• PDFs can either initiate a new Session or be added to an existing one within a Project.
• A validated Studio account is necessary to create a Studio Project.
• To create a new Project, simply enter a name and click OK; the Studio tab will then show the empty Project.
• Initial Project files can be added, with the flexibility to include additional files and folders later.
• By default, no users have access to a new Project, and invited users have limited permissions that can be modified in Project Settings.
• Inviting a user to a Project automatically classifies them as an Allowed User in the Project Settings.
• To invite users, click "Invite" on the Studio tab and utilize the Address Book feature, which requires a MAPI-compliant email program.
• Deleting a Project removes it and all associated files from the Studio Server; this action can be undone for Projects created with Studio Server 3.0 or higher, but is permanent for earlier versions.
• It is recommended to join a Project and save any important files before proceeding with deletion.
• Access and permissions can be defined and managed within Studio Projects.
