i think it's a great experiment, keep going. the only thing I would say is dont have the upvalue requirement (at least at first) let people guess for free

At first I had on my mind to setup a real knowledge game like Trivial Pursuit but with the AI agents at your fingertips, there is IMO no "incentive" because let's say you upvote 100 SATS to place an answer which can easily be found with the agents or online so a reward of 1000 SATS for a correct answer is not feasible as the "house" will always lose.
For this reason I thought that games with some fuzziness could work as the answer can not be retrieved directly from the web or the AI agents.
What do you think?

I think you won't know until you try, and learning to use the AI agents to answer is itself useful and could be fun

Well I am not sitting on an endless pile of sats so at some point I will run out of reward sats when nothing comes in 1000 goes out for each correct answer.
An economy is a circular chain: giving and taking to have a healthy ecosystem.
I think that is the main problem with WEB2 platforms, they suck huge amounts of wealth out of the economy and not incentivize users enough. And then I am not even mentioning the real loss that other companies have because their employees are losing/wasting huge amounts of time using those platforms.

Cool idea but I think 1000 sats (850 after the treechat tax) is not enough incentive.

What do you consider as enough?

you could ask people to upvalue the contest announcement as a way to pool prize money and let that guide the prize size

I think it should be greater than the average upvalue that people are throwing around. Which currently seems to be 10,000

What is your opinion regarding the input to place a guess @terrorknowed ?

It makes sense to prevent abuse if the prize is significant. Would be cool if down the line Treechat had an option to set a minimum paywall in order to reply.

Well if your guess is correct in 1 round, you 9x your input.
If your guess is correct in 2 rounds, you 4x your input.
Still with 4 rounds, you 1.5x your input.

I am sure there are at least 7+ images that you can guess in 1 round. So, your cost is 700 SAT, your gain is 6300 SATS.
I think it is a nice ROI %.
