whats it like to be twetch famous?
How old are you?
25 ❤️
Are you a fan of traditional architecture? Like old European/Middle east/Asian style urbanism?
Am I? 🙈
oh and welcome to twetch!
Wie hast du Twetch gefunden?
Cool 5 years older than me. Do you plan to post some of your architecture works in the future?
I‘m a european girl; so sure! I‘m really into traditional architecture. But really love the connection of traditional facade with a modern interior! 👌🏼
We‘ll see 🤷🏼♀️
Cool looking forward to see it
@4 Familie ☺️
Very cool. I really enjoy stuff made with traditional building materials. Such as timber frame homes with cobb walls. I also like traditional Japanese home building stuff.
Traditional japanese woodworking is fascinating. They don't use nails or screws but wooden joints, assembled like 3D tetris/puzzle. Tsugite is the japanese term for it if I remember correctly.
how did you hear about twetch?
A good book to read about that is 'Japanese Homes and Their Suroundings' by Edward S Morse. I plan to build my own once I acquire some land.
Thanks for the book tip! I'll check it out, might be good resource for my drawings and crafts.
👆👆👆Would you mind giving this guy a follow??? I promise this will enhance your twetches by .5%
What software do you use for drawing houses?
CAD? SketchUp?
Curently using only CAD, but really want to learn more! I have most fun working with photoshop & illustrator ☺️
The book was written by a very observant zoology professor living in Japan in the 1870s. All the drawings in the book are his own I believe. You will enjoy this book very much.
