Hey @24 So you dont want to send a signal that appears desperate. That makes you look like you need somebodys attention. Because it makes you look weak. And you should rather try to make it look like they need you. Correct?

So if you use pow on your information doesn't that in a way show that you believed you could not get attention without pow? does that not show a lack of confidence in the information u provide? if you encountered two sets of information that were similar
for example on job applications. One used POW and the other did not. wouldnt you assume that the one who did not use pow was more confident and therefore did not use POW?

You cannot get attention without POW. Therefore you are just correct if you think you can't. It's not less confident to use POW. It is more confident. With POW you are losing energy as you talk. You are confident you will not run out.
Not using POW is not a demonstrated opportunity cost. Yes there is a cost to less POW but you don't know if someone is giving it up freely or because they cannot afford it.

Yeah @397 has the right idea. Other people will always say you need more. It's your job to figure out how much is too expensive.
You have to figure out what your ideas are really worth and how much benefit you can get from them and figure out what level of POW gives you an amount of attention that maximizes the benefits vs cost.
