Hello frens, I want to try an experiment. I'll /pay everyone who asks me a question about the game I'm developing a random amount of $BSV until my Twetch wallet reaches $0

Hi, what's the key game mechanic?

Twetch ·

Its going to be a factory/automation game with an infinite world, you create monsters to farm them for gold/xp/items, to level up and become more powerful - all eventually automated and running like a well oiled machine /pay @29909 $2.61

Twetch ·

Looks cool. You have an eta on alpha or beta release?

Twetch ·

SOON™ ... this year sometime ... /pay @27707 $1.13

Twetch ·

Sounds cool, Ty for the bsv!

Twetch ·

Will your game have on-chain interface for using Bitcoin?

Twetch ·

Will your game have unique items / bsv tokens that can be collected and traded?

Twetch ·

I'm not going to lie, the past 6 months after falling down the "what bsv is capable of" rabbit hole I haven't been able to stop thinking about the possibilities of having a multiplayer game that uses BSV as its immutable global state and transaction layer

Twetch ·

The way I imagine it: One "server" that every player connects to (the client reads in the global state of the game stored on BSV). Every account owns some land in a finite (but huge) world. Players can rent land, trade land, trade items, etc etc

Twetch ·

Every tiny transaction on-chain, utterly unhackable/unexploitable. A never changing protocol (the game rules stored on BSV). Large players would become kings of their land, renting out parts for others to "farm" or otherwise make resources to trade

Twetch ·

At the moment the game is still a "normal" game. But there is a definite possibility that I take a leap of faith over the next year or two and convert it what I've said above. So to answer your Question... uhh maybe :) :) /pay @5 $3.61

Twetch ·

There is a possibility of this. But at the moment the game is a "normal/conventional" single player game. Depending on how things go this may happen, I cant stop thinking of how awesome it would be to have things like this... /pay @1077 $1.94

Twetch ·

Look forward to seeing it mate, a lot of people are hanging out for something like this.

Twetch ·

Would you make a cap on the amount of land in world? Would you want land to anything close?

Twetch ·

I have a 10-yo son who’s getting into video games. Is it something he could play?

Twetch ·

What software & engine are you using to make the game?

Twetch ·

This is built in Unreal Engine 4, but other software I use is Blender (3d modeling), Substance (3d texturing) /pay @4652 $1.47

Twetch ·

Absolutely ... (when its finally done haha) /pay @7165 $1.81

Twetch ·

Currently its set in an infinite world (the world is generated and deleted in a radius around the player procedurally, and modifications are saved in a compressed state). If this game heads down the NFT route there would be a (large) cap /pay @9823 $1.41
