Satoshi did not create Bitcoin for it to be a store of value. The title of the whitepaper says it all: "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.

Bielie don't be so hard on yourself. It is not an easy read, but Bitcoin and Beyond have made some good videos dissecting the whitepaper step by step. Makes it easier to understand.

Bielie, if you ask the community questions on certain areas you don't understand they'll most likely help you. I have questions of myself that I reach out and people have been responsive. Most here want everyone to learn.

I'm with bielie on the whitepaper being pretty inaccessible to outsiders. I don't need to read it to know I am not going to understand the details but I do understand a lot of the people who have broke it down into simpler terms
