What do you guys think of free will? Does it exist? To what extend is our behavior automated?
I'm following a course on neuroeconomics, combining the fields of neurology, economics, and psychology to get a better understanding of human behavior.

But when you make a choice, it could be said that you was destined to always make that choice.
Only a small percentage of decisions are free will imo. We seek rewards in our decision making (like animals).
A few are capable of making free will decisions that are opposite to their primal urges.
I remember years ago reading about free will, and when I discovered that there is a chance that everything could be deterministic simply a reaction, I was like 🤯

Gist: Do u have FW is not a Y/N answer. Better to ask, how much FW do u have from moment to moment? How much do u have when angry? FW as a spectrum, a skill that is trainable

What does the Bible say about free will? I do believe in free will myself. I feel claiming that free will doesn't exist is close to blasphemy.
But I also think that a lot of behavior is automated and can be manipulated, especially when you're not aware.
