When your guest (Randy, too) says that Ready Player One and The Matrix are "really cool"; why don't you qualify what they mean and perhaps discuss the dystopian nature of their desires? Are you NEVER going to ask the tough questions? Did Calvin win @292

Because the problem with both of those that the dystopias existed because of proof of stake incentive structures.

I believe proof of work in coming to consensus mitigates the risk of dystopia. I want villains to become honest nodes and become peaceful.

Everybody running around with microwave EMF phones and optic devices, looking for fake asparagus, rather than cultivating the real plant, is dystopian, no matter how the proof of legume is orchestrated.

It's simply delusional to think otherwise.

Twetch ·

And even if your assertion above were applicable; you still didn't take on the discussion. You allow these mad hatter, dystodevs to just assume that you and I are on board with being plugged into the Matrix.

Do you think Jesus is coming on an iCloud?

Twetch ·

What does @1259 think? Are you still - self admittedly - avoiding real issues in favour of making money with Coingeek? Because if you are: Jesus wants you.

Pay people to play AR/VR Bible trivia all day.

People who fear/hate technology are missing the opportunity to communicate to people who are on that cutting edge.

Also, leading by shaming people is a losing battle.

Twetch ·

Can you explain to me why a proof of work $egg be worth more than a proof of stake $egg? Not just that it is more likely to still be there in fifty years, but WHY it is intrinsically more valuable. Of course you can't. Ready Proof of One is fake, evil.

Twetch ·

Kurt. Have you put Jesus on the back burner?

Twetch ·

Interesting concept. People seeking counseling are encouraged to pay a fee or copay so they will be personally invested in their mental health. Getting paid to learn would be an interesting motivation. Certainly better than shaming or guilting someone.

Twetch ·

I don't fear much anything, really. I just know that the enemy (demons) are building something which closely resembles The Matrix/Terminator/Hunger Games/RPOne and i refuse to help them. My contention is that if you help them; you leave Jesus behind.

Twetch ·

And i think the likely timeline for mark of the beast is 1000 years - BSV will probably be around to help. The trouble i have with you is that you think TBoRevelation took place in the first century. Which is clearly ridiculous.

Twetch ·

So please tell us all. What is going to happen in your "Jesus returns in forty years", timeline? I have told everything wrt to my 1200 year timeline. What do you think is going on? Are you going to keep it all to yourself?

Twetch ·

This is not shaming you. It wasn't a loaded question. Your response to me was loaded. And your fans always jump on that.

Twetch ·

is it a sin to profit off the bible?

Twetch ·

I don't know.

Twetch ·

If I was god, and I put some words down on paper. I'd use my 48V Wand© to fry anyone that made a buck of my words.

Twetch ·

I believe it is a feature, the proponents even have tax loopholes

Twetch ·

this post has no humor in it because uploading attachments when trolltolled is borked

Twetch ·

Ah, i realise that you were not referring to the above, you were referring to my saying that a person is delusional, if they don't see things the way that i do.

Your viewpoint is fair. I should refrain from calling people delusional.
