I guess things like that could be prevented in multiple ways: by fencing narrow streets, having police officers around, but even more importantly having in schools and in social media instructions how to behave in such scenarios. Wikipedia suggests that in crowds the ones who are at the *start of the crowd* don't understand that those who are at the *end of the crowd* get pressed to death. Maybe in order to save lives those videos must circulate online.
