He has it exactly backwards. Although he wasn't the only small block extremist, he was the most influential. He confused the entire industry. Most people involved in cryptocurrency to this day believe the incorrect ideas of Greg Maxwell.
Greg wanted beanie baby coin from the beginning. Worthless in a practical sense, but if you can create artificial scarcity and convince people they are worth more than their utilitarian value... voilà
the term "known fraud and scammer" comes to mind
I wonder if Greg Maxwell would say something smart if given enough time to think about what he wants to say?
