Got way more into Tony Wright's work over the weekend and wrote an article on it.
To summarize:
What if human intelligence, creativity, and empathy didn’t just evolve randomly but were actually shaped by something we've since lost? Researcher Tony Wright suggests that our neural wiring was once supported by a diet rich in plant compounds—in particular those found in fruit—which helped keep our brains in a more open, flexible, and cooperative state. As our diet changed, so did our behavior, pushing us toward hierarchy, aggression, and rigid thinking. He explores how diet, altered states, and right-brain activation might help restore what was lost. I guess you could call it a wild theory, but the implications are huge.

I'm so happy you said fruit and not vegetables... !flux11
Interesting theory.
Sounds similar to the Yogic/Ayurvedic view that food has 3 qualities:
Sattva - pure, light and calm
Rajas - excited, aggressive and stimulated
Tamas - lethargic and heavy
I will try out a more fruitful diet over the next week and see how it works, thanks for the reminder.
I normally have more vivid dreams and I can remember the dreams better when I ate fruits over the day.
The fruits which have been growing in the wild probably had a better nutrition than our farmed ones though.
And I would agree on the left vs. right hemisphere "problem".
Our current society kinda forces our brains into using the left hemisphere.
Listened to a Tim Ferris Podcast a few days ago.
I already wanted to skip this part, because it seemed lame and boring, but I didn't and tried it the next days and I have to say it kinda works^^.
She gives some easy trick/advice for activating the right hemisphere and deactivating the left hemisphere.
I hope the timestamp-link works, otherwise start the video at around 01:46:50.

Sounds very Peaty! As in Ray Peat - he’s all about the sugar (from fruit mainly). Though he also recommends milk, coffee, ice cream, oysters and liver! He’s also all about optimising metabolism and eating for heat. A warm and well fed brain is a happy brain.
