who gonna make a bitcoin script asic? block validation asic? unlocked protocol and 1mb blocks have slowed down innovation into these areas. PoW is only one part of the whole, yet it has all of the focus.

Someone that’s going to get paid for this by someone who has coin or money for research and development of asics. This isn’t something the community can do easily.
yeah I agree. There will probably be a pretty big market for script/scrypt/block validation fpga/asics. Once they come out you will see many of the "unscalable" chains become arms race scalable.
