Don't believe we're going to get an alchemist moment, but just look at the diamond market. Making diamonds with human machines with a quarter of the costs & same grade as the best ones ever found is a reality.
Bitcoin is an economy, not easily replaced.
These diamonds are worth less because the are essentially fake. Real diamonds have imperfections. Just like humans.
