I live near Gold Country in California. Never been panning, though. How long did it take you to yield that gold?

Id estimate about 50 hours. Its a hobby and excuse to get out to the countryside more than a money maker. My brother and I are planning a trip to California in the next couple of years to rent a claim for a few days. Maybe find some proper gold.

What part of Ireland do you live in? I know I have distant cousins in Galway.

Up by Donegal in the Northwest. You should visit Galway, its a really nice town and the west coast has a nice coastal route you can drive.
