What if near the end of bull markets, investors can sense the end is near? Controlling for the severity of the actual problem, in both cases society went way overboard and created a bigger crisis.

Excellent line of thought. Market intuition is certainly a thing, unfortunately Central Banks are ruining much preexisting intuition, maintaining things that otherwise would have fallen, thus sentiment must be Stronger? to overcome, drive the market down
