To my understanding, the developers of Core and Cash coded out a mechanism that would allow for the return of stolen property (keys). Due to this, they are personally liable for not being able to facilitate the return of stolen property.

BSV doesn't have this problem as the mechanism 1. exists 2. devs are shielded by the Bitcoin Association and the limited liability protections it brings. BTC and BCH being forced to return stolen coins falsifies 'not your keys, not your bitcoin' entirely.

No. Both of those and BSV are missing the "Alert Key' that lets you do that. It was removed by BTC several years ago and the two forks of it dont have it either. He wants them to put it back in.
